Met de PROTEST reeks probeert iori de hedendaagse problemen die zich in Polen voordoen op een tijdloze manier in beeld te brengen. Het is een reeks zwart-wit foto's die samengesteld is uit beelden van een 20-tal documentaire reportages. Door het standpunt of de manier waarop de opname gemaakt werd, kregen de beelden een artistiek-documentair karakter. De reeks toont het engagement van jong en oud, arm en rijk, stuk voor stuk mensen die een betere toekomst willen in één van de belangrijkste landen in Centraal Europa. Het toont een haat/liefde verhouding tussen Polen en de Europese Unie.
With the series PROTEST, iori tries to visualize the contemporary problems that occur in Poland in a timeless way. It is a series of black and white photographs comprising images of some 20 documentaries. By using a special viewpoint or by the way the photo was made, the images get an artistic-documentary character. The series shows the commitment of young and old, rich and poor, all people who want a better future in one of the major countries in Central Europe. It shows a love / hate relationship between Poland and the European Union.
Avec la série PROTEST, iori tente de visualiser d'une manière intemporelle les problèmes contemporaines qui se produisent en Pologne. Il s'agit d'une série de photographies en noir et blanc composé d' images d'une vingtaine de documentaires. Par l'angle de vue ou la manière dont les photos sont réalisés, les images ont un caractère artistique. La série témoigne de l'engagement des jeunes et vieux, riches et pauvres, tous les gens qui veulent un avenir meilleur dans l'un des principaux pays d'Europe centrale. Il montre un rapport amour / haine entre la Pologne et l'Union européenne.
